Email Spoofing Canned Response (Responsible)

After investigation, this email did not originate from our servers. Unfortunately "email spoofing" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_spoofing), which is appearing to be from one email address when actually coming from another one, is not only fairly common but fairly easy to do. Additionally, it is very difficult to prevent completely, or even track down and report the origin.

The best way to combat malicious actors such as these is to continue to apply critical thinking to our email interactions. Thank you for reporting this to us, and for being a responsible member of the email community.
